Chocolate Madness!

The food we definitely love: fresh baked chocolate bread for perfect mornings.

Secret Yummy Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour, 2 cups granulated sugar, 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 cups milk 1 cup vegetable oil, 3 large eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon instant espresso granules dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water, 2 tablespoons chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons flour.

Secret Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 °F. Spray the loaf pans with nonstick cooking spray and line with parchment paper. Give the parchment a quick spray as well.

2. In a large bowl blend together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Then beat in the milk, oil, eggs, vanilla and optional espresso mixture. In a medium bowl, toss the chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of flour (this will help to prevent the chips from sinking to the bottom of the batter), and gently stir into the batter. Important: use medium speed for the mixer!

3. Bake in preheated oven about 1 hour and 15-20 minutes. Let cool in the pans for 20 minutes. Remove the bread from the pans and cool completely on a wire rack.

The californian breakfast: cantaloupe as a side, please!

Fresh food lover: fresh ingredients, fresh fusions, fresh cuts, fresh colors, fresh mornings!

Local fresh ingredients: cantaloupe, avocado, goat cheese, nuts and seeds bread, smoked salmon, chopped tomatos, arugula, chives, olive oil.

Hmm… is soft, jucy pulp and sweet flavour and is 90 percent water. Is perfect to help with hydration on these hot mornings! Cantaloupe is low in calories, high in vital nutrients and can help you while you try to lose weight. Bomb fruit: vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, folate, selenium and choline.

Nothing brings people together like delicious food!

I call myself a traveler, not a tourist

I always do my best to blend with the locals so I will never stare at a map with a selfie stick in my hand. I make sure I bring clothes that are fashionable…, well I never lose my style for comfort but I also respect cultural norms.

Most time I use the local language. I usually try local cuisine because is a link to local culture… and because I love to try new food, especially desserts.

The most important… I never rely on a map, I trust my own instincts. I am not afraid of getting lost, eventually getting lost means seeing beautiful landscapes you might have never seen before.

Spring herbs from California!

Easy to grow, full of flavour and incredibly versatile, spring herbs are real green treasures! 

With spring here, you might consider growing all you these magic herbs in your own garden. Actually you don’t need a garden! You can start with a few pots in a small sunny corner.

Herbs love light and sunshine! Most of them can be grown in containers and don’t need too much looking after. All they need is sunshine, good soil and not too much water. Many herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and lavender come from hot dry climates. They positively hate standing in water, so make sure you only water sparingly when they look dry.

Culinary herbs make a good starting point for the novice herb grower so you can try parsley, basil, thyme, and sage for your first attempts at herb gardening! Herbs can do much more than add sparkle to your cooking! Your options are limitless!

Nu totul este despre delicii cu rezonante vegetariene, ci sa ai cu cine sa imparti e totul!

No great relationship can ever begin until you’ve taken food from the same dish. Sharing dinner with somebody you love is like sharing your own happiness.

Nu ești de părere că orice dish este infinit mai delicios atunci când este împărțit cu cineva drag? Mesele, în substanță, nu sunt despre nutrienți, calorii, aport vitaminic, ci despre bunăstare interioară, umor, zâmbet și bună dispoziție. Cina nu trebuie să fie exclusiv despre gust, dar obligatoriu să fie cu bun gust.

Nu totul este despre delicii aromate cu rezonanțe vegetariene. Nu e important ce mănânci, ci cu cine împarți. Nu contează unde ești, ci pe cine ai alături!

Unele emoții sunt unice, iar oricât de plin ar fi scriitorul, acestea nu pot fi redate prin cuvinte. E ca atunci când o linie melodică poate fi auzită de sufletul unui singur om, dar nu poate fi percepută de urechile altuia.

Mai minunat ca tine,  iubite Mai… nu există! Ești cald, plin de magie și iubitor! Ești încărcat cu flori și zâmbete! Ești verde proaspăt și miroși a liliac. Toți te iubesc, dar mai mult eu… pentru că îmi dăruiești emoții incomparabile.

Credeam că nu mai ajungi… să vezi că încă port zâmbetul pe care mi l-ai dăruit. Să nu te mai grăbești să pleci!
